Again comparing the island with its dose of classical music concerts, the Padma Resort Legian invited a South Korean cellist; He is Young Lim perform in the Plumeria Grand Ballroom on Monday, May 8, 2013.
With a love of music, Young Lim went on to study at the famous New England Conservatory in Boston. He later continued his musical education at the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, and the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar.
In 2018, Hee Young Lim released her first album and collaborated with musician Daniel Lindemann for a series of records under Sony Classical. During that time, he had received many awards for his success in the music industry, including the Washington International String Competition and the Grand Prix at the Norman International Fair.
The talented cellist is known for his captivating stage presence, receiving high praise from The Washington Post for his “deeply gifted musicality,” “superb lyricism,” and “near perfect technique.”
For his lifetime performance on Monday, May 8, 2013, he will perform compositions by Young Lima, Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms, Gabriel Fauré, Fritz Kreisler, George Gershwin, and Astor Piazzolla. She will be accompanied by the very talented musician Yohanes Liem.
