I am a lover of natural beauty. Even though I enjoy the heritage of tourism, nothing can threaten my chest faster than when I look at the face of nature full of wonders. As with the beauty of Jaddih Hill in Bangkalan Madura Regency, I can not stop thinking how can the face of the earth be like this?
What’s nice is that I found this destination thanks to Google Maps feed. Because I was too bored and didn’t know what to do in Surabaya anymore, I casually opened the menu
Discovering the beauty of Jaddih Hill from Google Maps

As we all know, Google Maps is very useful for mobile users like us. This application allows users to easily identify the location and directions. So I am looking for natural attractions in Madura that are not so far from Surabaya.
Then uncle Google opened his cellar. As if to say that if you want to find information about some tourist attractions, look at the yellow stars made by other people.
It didn’t take long for my eyes to fall on Arosbaya Limestone Hill and Jaddih Hill. Looking for more information, she took her husband and children to two spots in the city. As well as the limestone hills, the limestone quarries are still in operation, but some of them have been turned into the beauty of the city.
So, after hiring an Avanza, three of us crossed the Madura Strait through the Suramadu Bridge, stopped for lunch at Bebek Sinjay and then continued our journey to Arosbaya Mountain and then to Jaddih Mountain. I will tell about Arosbaya in another place.
Attractions at Jaddih Hill, Bangkalan, Madura

Jaddih Hill, a limestone hill on the border of Jakan, Parseh, Socah, Bangkalan Regency, East Java. One of the most popular tourist destinations in East Java. An unusual look. Some of the limestone mines have been abandoned and some are still in operation.
The main beauty of Jaddih Hill is indeed the limestone formations. They were followed by lakes, ponds, lakes, and previously excavated caves. It’s an exotic aura because the scars on the face of nature’s scars are still there, but they’ve been covered up for the sake of the city, so now they’re beautiful.
There is therefore a speculative reason why we are held by the beauty of nature. There is one theory of evolution that says we are drawn to the beauty of nature, because features such as greenery, watery fields, or open views have become indicators for humans that these places can provide the support necessary for survival.
Perhaps that is why, although the beauty of Jaddih Hill seems to be an artificial panoramic destination, with a strong visual and aesthetic appeal, it is still a charming natural attraction.
Exploring the beauty of Jaddih Madura hills

So when you come here, nature stimulates your brain. Give in to your curiosity to explore the place. In addition to feeling connected to the place around us, it is also good to be better mentally and emotionally.
Whether it’s photography or just a selfie, don’t forget to ask akamsi to accompany you there. They will thank you for the interesting spots of your lens.
While photographs are being taken or photographed, imagine that Jaddih Hill has a long history. It was formed from hardened marine limestone about 23 million years ago during the Tertiary period.
Blue and Green Puddles

A really beautiful spot in the photo, one of which is because of the swamp. A distinct blue color, from springs of water flowing through limestone rocks, bringing with them the mineral content of calcium carbonate dissolved in the water. As water flows through limestone, the minerals react with carbon dioxide to form chemical compounds called carbonates. Then it forms solid carbon particles, which are called sedimentary carbon
Then the sun came up, and the sedimentary carbon particles at the bottom of the water beautifully rendered the blue waves of the sun.
For this reason, the blue color is more visible when the sky is sunny and clear. It is the combination of high calcium carbonate minerals and the reflection of the sun that makes the water on Jaddih Hill a beautiful blue.
A pool of green water is also added.
Green stagnant water in the area of Bukit Kapur Jaddih in Bangkalan, Madura can be caused by the growth of algae or algae on the surface of the water. Algae or algae can thrive in water that contains a lot of nutrients like phosphorus and nitrogen, which can come from agricultural waste or domestic waste that enters the water source.
It’s really cute!
In addition to these there are Pote Caves, Petruk Caves, steps of stairs cut directly from the limestone, and the road that you will see from the top of Mount Jaddih. Don’t forget the rock excavation holes, really beautiful self-portraits.
